Duarte Caldas are a Lisbon based studio that focus on highlighting the unique qualities inherent in each space before utilising custom-made solutions to enhance them. The detailed design for this apartment demonstrates their intricate yet understated approach. We’re delighted that our lights were so exquisitely incorporated into their vision.
Our Black Peg Tube Pendant Fixed Conduit lights are ideal for minimalist interiors. Their sleek finish provides an excellent accompaniment to the simple yet effective aesthetic on display in the apartment.
In the kitchen we are able to see the continuity of that stylish design, simplicity in their approach allows for unique aspects of the space to be highlighted, as the intricate tiling on the surrounding walls are allowed to take centre stage.
In the bathroom you’re able to see our Swedish Porcelain Black LED light, placed carefully besides a beautifully shaped mirror. Again, it is a minimal approach to the interior that has maximal effect. These lights are manufactured by Swedish company Ifö Electric which has been operating since 1934 in Bromölla, Sweden. Although these are extremely durable products, you’d be forgiven for thinking otherwise when observing the soft curvature of their porcelain frame.
It’s no exaggeration to say that these lights are stunningly suited to what is an undoubtably beautiful bathroom.
