Invented in Naples after being inspired by the first filter coffee maker made in 1691 by Du Belloy. The name of the inventor of the Neapolitan coffee maker remains unknown to this day. The Neapolitan coffee maker, known in Naples as a cuccumella, produces a light-bodied, full-flavoured coffee. For many Neapolitans, using this coffee maker is synonymous with family reunions and conviviality.
Still in production since 1946, the Italian factory make a wide variety if metal products that can be considered design classics.
