Dyke & Dean linen shades are made and produced in Bali by a small independent factory. Each shade is made by hand and with love using a local workforce. Beautifully detailed and made to artisan quality with premium fabrics and cane that prioritise environmental responsibility. Our factory work to create a "positive impact on both people and the planet".
Our shades ship 'flat' which is both great for the planet and reduces shipping costs. Note some small assembly is required at home for each lamp to open up and insert the supporting frame.
The Mola Shade is sold as a pendant light only—no light bulbs or electrical fittings are included. It does not require a wire frame to hold its shape, and will naturally settle into its form a few days after installation.
For best results, we recommend using a warm-toned bulb instead of a white one. Warm lighting enhances the natural texture and tone of our shades, creating a softer, more inviting ambiance. Linen fabric with a rattan frame. No wire frame required; shade settles into shape after a few days.

International customers will be liable to pay customs and duties once your order reaches your country's border.
All lead times quoted are for delivery to mainland UK, if ordering outside of this area there will be an additional transit time relevant to your destination.
US customers will be subject to additional tariffs as well as import duties and tax. Our team will be in touch after your order has been placed to confirm the individual tariff rates for each item. Orders will not be processed until you have confirmed that you accept the tariff rates and give consent for the order to be shipped.
Our returns policy lasts for 14 days. If 14 days have gone by since your purchase has been delivered, unfortunately we cannot offer you a refund or exchange.
Goods / Returns must be received to Dyke & Dean within 14 days of being delivered to you. If Goods / Returns are received after this we will not issue a refund. Notification to our office of your return via telephone, email, fax and or letter within 14 days does not mean a refund will be given. A refund will only be reviewed if the Goods / Returns are received within 14 days to our possession.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging. Customers are responsible for the delivery costs of returning the goods.
Bespoke/Made to order products, cut lengths of fabric cable under 100m and Outlet items are non-returnable.
